Good Day Friends,
The time for the GACSB's 16th Annual Spring Fling draws near, and once against our event will be headlining at the Lodge at Simpsonwood in Norcross June 2-4, 2013. This year we've developed an amped up and informative program around our unplugged 1950’s theme - "Rockin' & Rollin' into Wellness."
We hope to tap the consumer talents of each of our 26 CSBs and engage you with our star-studded lineup of motivational and educational speakers. We've additionally planned modular breakout sessions specifically focused around recovery and rehabilitation for MH, AD and DD as part of the event's curriculum.
Event registration begins now and starts with a promotional phase - Buy 2, Get 1 Free. For those submitting registration forms within the first month, every 2 consumer registrations will earn an additional pre-paid registration to be used on a consumer. Normal registration will follow the promotional first month.
In the last two weeks prior to the event we will host our registration Lottery. Each CSB by way of being a member of the GA Association, begins with one entry into the lottery for outstanding scholarships. Additionally, every consumer registration paid for by a CSB during Early and Normal registration grants an additional ticket entry to the drawing. The number of Lottery registrations will depend on the number outstanding following the first month of registration. Please reference the attached information for further details.
In order to best provide any needed services to our consumers, we need registered nurses on-duty and on-site at all times. Please let us know if you have a nurse willing to volunteer. Once again we would like door prizes to be part of our event and are asking for donations. Please contact Lyly Trinh at 912-704-1729/ ltrinh@shpllc.com, if you are able to provide door prizes. This portion of the program is always a big hit, and contributing CSBs will be acknowledged at the Spring Fling.
